The restaurant is located in an old house with lots of character. Very unique. Service was wonderful, with our waiter being very attentive. Started their version of an old fashion. It was definitely "spirit forward." Also a thier garden party. Light and refreshing. As an appetizer, we had the pork candy. Portion of roasted bacon with a sweet glaze. Then, for entrees, we had the seabass and the short ribs pot roast. Both were worth ordering again. If you're looking for a fun upscale location for a date or to impress, this would be your place.

Had a great Birthday dinner here last night. Everything from the atmosphere to the food to the service was great. I had the Filet and it was cooked perfectly. Probably one of the best steaks I've ever had in my life. The bar drinks were also good. We loved the unique bar glasses. I will say that the risotto was not as good as I heard it was. If anything it tasted old like it had been reheated too much in the microwave. Their prices are high that's for sure.

Where do I start! First, love the atmosphere…any place that has brick on the inside…we are hooked. Our server, Ashley, was wonderful! Attentive and knowledgable. Next, the food…AMAZING!!! We love fine dining, and this was it. They also had a very good wine list, but the cocktails…OVER THE TOP! The bartenders are incredible! I would like to take just a moment to address some of “bad” reviews. When you come to a place like this folks, it’s not a “just hurry up and cook my food so I can hurry up and eat it!” This is a place you come to experience the atmosphere, the drinks, the food…sit and chat with the people you’re with…in other words…take your time and dine like a European! To the staff…we will be back whenever we visit NC!!! Well don’t to all!!! 🥰

Had an awesome dinner here! I ordered the wild boar and it was really good. The drinks from the bar were amazing and the service couldn’t have been better. I’ll definitely be coming back. It’s a little on the pricey side, so make sure you bring your wallet, but it’s totally worth it!

Love B&F for two reasons: 1) TAYLOR - this is the only place I’ve ever genuinely felt comfortable sitting at a bar, and it’s all down to the best bartender. Taylor is not only an amazing mixologist (esp for bourbon fans!!) but a truly lovely, smart, hilarious, engaging human. I’ve never sat at a bar and felt like I was at home with a friend (who can also make kickass cocktails) before coming here. Taylor’s gift is making others around her feel at ease and worthwhile. She doesn’t need to be told or asked to take care of her customers: intuition and joy for her calling abound and are abundantly clear in how she presents herself to customers and staff alike. She is always busy but never once have I felt like an interloper or an inconvenience. In fact, the complete opposite. 2) SAV - Savannah is a gem. Always goes out of her way to make sure everyone that comes in has whatever they need. Even when it’s not her job explicitly, I watch her go out of her way to help others and speak to anyone near with a smile and kind word. As someone who worked in the service industry for years, I can say without reservation that I never made the dining experience nearly as worthwhile and downright enjoyable as these ladies do. The food is okay, not amazing. But I keep coming back for the amazing women here. Ladies, you have my business for as long as you’re open, they’re lucky to have you and so are we! - Haley

Atmosphere is #1 followed very closely by the service. The food is very good but it’s very hard to compete with the ambiance and service as they were top notch and if you follow my reviews I’m picky with both. The smoking flowers at entrance are outstanding. The anniversary card is nothing I’ve ever seen and we’ve been to much higher priced places than this. That was a very nice touch. I’m not a drinker but we were right by the bar and they are amazing with the presentation of their drinks. My wife really enjoyed the drinks she got! If you like old fashions you really need to come here and give it a go. I can’t speak from experience but I can tell you there were people all around us and they were not quiet about how good they were. The food was really good but I will say for the price I’ve had better. That being said we’ll be back. I will say that we got the desserts and we’ll be passing on those in the future. It was basic and tasted ok but not worth getting again in my opinion. My wife loved the raspberry chai latte though. She said she’d definitely get it again.

Was looking for restaurants local to my hotel while I was in the area for work, this showed up and it was part of Resy do I could utilize some Amex perks. Restaurant was super cool stationed in a house. I was seated outdoors on the front porch. I got a house old fashioned and got it smoke which was a new and unique experience for me. I got the gnocchi for an app and it was spicier than expected but still good. For my main I got the elk chops which was new for me and they were extremely good. Desert was a flour less chocolate cake which was dense and delicious and almost too much after all the food I ate. Waitor was extremely nice and polite and friendly. I plan on going back next time I'm in the area, would highly recommend.

This is the BEST dinner spot I've been to since I can remember. From the second you arrive, the hosts are so friendly and accomodating, the bartenders, server, each person was so great. Everyone you interact with is so friendly! Not to mention the restaurant itself is beautiful with such a nice oudoor area too. 10/10 drinks, delicious food. Chris took great care of us with amazing drink recommendations while we enjoyed the fire pit before dinner. Ashley was our server and provided exceptional service! It was such a lovely night. We will definitely recommend to others and be back!!

Came for drinks and appetizers! The bartender is formally trained and makes delicious cocktails from scratch. Calamari was delicious and different than the standard way it’s made. Loved the shrimp. I don’t recommend the lamb appetizer it was super dry. The cheese and chips were also good! -you can also sit outside on this long porch!
